50% Fee Cut on Non-Crypto Markets, Plus Gold on Breakout

From October 29, fees on the Nasdaq 100, S&P 500, oil and silver drop to 0.02% per order, and gold on Breakout lists at 5x with a $500,000 cap.

We’ve slashed trading fees by 50% on all RWA (real-world asset) markets on our Turbo, Pro, and Classic plans, including the Nasdaq 100 (XYZ100), the S&P 500, WTI crude oil (CL), Silver, plus new listings: Gold, Brent crude (BRENTOIL), Natural Gas (NATGAS) and Copper.

RWA trading fees cut by 50%

You’ve told us our fees were too high, in reviews and pretty much everywhere else you talk to us. We’ve listened.

Today, we’re cutting trading fees in half on every non-crypto market on Breakout for all of our Turbo, Pro, and Classic evaluations.

Starting Thursday, October 29, 2026, the fee on every order in the Nasdaq 100 (XYZ100), the S&P 500, WTI crude oil (CL) and silver (SILVER) drops from 0.04% to 0.02% (or 4bps to 2bps). That includes the live evaluation and funded accounts you already hold, not just new accounts.

Gold has finally arrived

Put down the pitchforks, and rejoice, traders! Gold has come to Breakout. It trades under the ticker GOLD, at 5x leverage with a $500,000 max position.

That’s the single biggest position cap of any commodity on Breakout, two and a half times the $200,000 on CL and SILVER.

Like every market on Breakout, it trades 24/7. You can hold it over a weekend or through a rate decision, right next to your BTC and XYZ100 positions, all in one account.

And because it lists with the fee cut already in place, you’ll trade gold on Breakout at 0.02% per order from your first trade.

Brent crude, copper and natural gas join too

Three more commodities are all listing today as well, bringing us to eight non-crypto markets. Here’s how all four new markets list on Classic, Pro and Turbo accounts:

  • GOLD (gold): 5x leverage, $500,000 max position
  • BRENTOIL (Brent crude oil): 5x leverage, $200,000 max position
  • COPPER (copper): 10x leverage, $50,000 max position
  • NATGAS (natural gas): 3x leverage, $50,000 max position

Brent is the other big oil benchmark, next to the WTI crude (CL) you can already trade. The two usually move together, but they’re different markets with different prices, and now you can trade both from the same account.

Copper lists at 10x, the same leverage tier as BTC, XYZ100 and the S&P 500, with a smaller $50,000 cap.

Natural gas lists at 3x, and it’s known for sharp swings around weather forecasts and storage reports, so put some respect on it.

As a reminder: leverage is auto-applied on every market, so there’s nothing to set. Every asset above will be on the full symbol list so you can keep track if anything changes in the future.

Lower fees, same rules

This change covers non-crypto markets only; crypto fees stay at 0.04% per order.

Your daily loss limit and max drawdown aren’t changing, and leverage is still auto-applied per market.

Spark accounts (if you’ve still got one running, somehow) already pay their own, lower commission on non-crypto markets, so this change doesn’t touch them. We’re continuing to work out what the next wave of Spark accounts will look like, so stay tuned on that front.

And do keep in mind: a lower fee makes each trade cheaper, not safer. A 10x position in copper or a fast day in natural gas can still spend a day’s loss allowance quickly, so size to your limits, not (necessarily) to the cap.

Common questions

When do the lower fees start?

Right now: October 29, 2026. They’re live in the Breakout terminal, just waiting for you to dive in.

Which markets get the lower fee?

Every non-crypto market on Breakout: XYZ100, the S&P 500, CL and SILVER, plus GOLD, BRENTOIL, COPPER and NATGAS from launch. The fee drops from 0.04% to 0.02% per order.

Do I need to do anything to get the reduced fees?

No. This change applies automatically to every Classic, Pro and Turbo account, including any live evaluation and funded accounts you already hold.

Are crypto fees changing?

Not at the moment. Crypto markets will stay at 0.04% per order.

What leverage and max position does gold have?

5x leverage and a $500,000 max position, the largest cap of any commodity on Breakout.

Where can I trade the new markets?

In the Breakout Terminal, 24/7, on evaluation and funded accounts.

Half the fees on the markets you already trade, plus the one you asked for most. If you’re new here, start with how funded trading works, then buy an evaluation when you’re ready.
