Breakout Dashboard Migration: Everything You Need to Know

We are thrilled to announce that Breakout is migrating to an entirely new, enhanced backend system! This significant upgrade will streamline your trading experience with a host of new features and improvements, including on-demand payouts available every single day. No more waiting for manual approval to resume trading—this is a game-changer for our traders.

This migration represents a major tech and interface upgrade across the board. Importantly, there are no new or hidden rule changes; it’s still the Breakout you love, just better. Below, we’ve outlined everything you need to know about this exciting transition.

  • Purchasing Temporarily Unavailable: During migration, purchases will not be available for a few hours.
  • New Accounts Required: You must create a new account on the new dashboard to make purchases. The old dashboard will show an error.
  • KYC Needs to Be Redone: Even if completed on the old system, KYC must be resubmitted on the new system.
  • Legacy Access Available: Old accounts can still be accessed through the “Legacy Dashboard” button.

Details You Need to Know

1. New Accounts

If you do not have an active account, you will need to create a new account via our website to purchase evaluations using the new system. Registration is quick and straightforward, and you’ll have access to all the new features once the migration is complete.

2. Purchase Downtime

During the migration process, purchases of new evaluations will be temporarily unavailable for up to 6 hours. Once the migration is complete, you will be able to make purchases through the new system. We appreciate your patience as we work to bring these improvements online.

3. Existing Accounts

If you have an active account, you must continue trading on the legacy system until your account completes its journey. If you made ANY purchase in the legacy system, you will remain in the legacy system until your account completes its journey. Only NEW purchases made on the NEW DASHBOARD that happen AFTER migration will be in the new system.

“If I get funded in the old system do I move to the new system after migration?” NO

“If I bought an evaluation but decide to trade it after migration will it be in the new system?” NO

“If I have an untraded account In the old system can I have it moved to the new system” NO

“If I pass an evaluation in the legacy system after migration, will I be in the new system?” NO

“If I bought an evaluation before Cred’s discord announcement but my mom bought one after will she be in the new system?” NO

“If I bought an evaluation in the new system after migration will I be in the new system?” YES

It is important to note that accounts cannot be transferred between the old system and the new system. Once your account’s journey is complete, you can register and purchase a new evaluation on the updated platform.

4. KYC

KYC remains mandatory to access a funded Breakout Account. While KYC is not required to begin a Breakout Evaluation, it can now be completed at any time after registration.

  • Important: Even if you completed KYC in the legacy system, you must resubmit your KYC on the new platform. Navigate to Settings > KYC to complete this process.
  • Pro Tip: Submit your KYC early to avoid delays in accessing your funded account.

5. Purchases

After the migration, all new evaluation purchases will only be available via the new system. You must register a new account to make purchases. Purchases cannot be made via the legacy system once the migration is complete.

6. Account Upgrades

Account upgrades—progression between evaluation phases and from evaluation to funded account—will continue as normal for both legacy system accounts and new system accounts.

7. Payouts

  • Legacy Accounts: The payout process will remain unchanged, with daily payouts available.
  • New System Accounts: The updated system introduces on-demand payouts, allowing you to request any number of payouts each day.

8. Legacy Account Access

All information from legacy accounts will remain accessible in the legacy system. You can access this via the “Legacy Dashboard” button located next to the login button on the new dashboard.
